How you can help play a part in conservation while on safari

High Adventure Safaris is pleased to work with several partner lodges that promote ecotourism.

Many of our lodges have been awarded international honors for responsible tourism, and several offer exclusive hands-on experiences for you.

The aim of Wilderness Safaris' Bisate Lodge is to be a model of sustainable ecotourism in Rwanda. Its reforestation and rehabilitation projects have each guest partnering with us in contributing to conservation and local community upliftment, with a positive impact on the iconic endangered mountain gorilla. In addition, AndBeyond's Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge in Rwanda was conceived to develop a lodge whose revenue streams would improve the lives of local community members and directly support gorilla conservation.

With andBeyond come and experience lion conservation first hand. Guests of andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in Tanzania have the opportunity to interact with the KopeLion conservation team to get a deeper understanding of their day to day operations and what it is really like for the Maasai to live side by side with wildlife and generate a donation to KopeLion.

Living With Elephants Foundation is devoted to providing rescued African elephants with a second chance and a safe home in the wilderness of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Sanctuary Retreats’ guests are given the rare opportunity to visit Jabu and Morula in the heart of the Okavango Delta. During their walk with Jabu and Morula, guests witness private elephant moments as they forage, mud wallow and amble through the bush. This is an intimate and highly educational bush walk where you will learn about the status of the African Elephant, their role in the ecosystem and conservation in general.

Wilderness Safaris' Desert Rhino Camp in Namibia works in partnership with the Save the Rhino Trust Namibia, as well as local communities and the Palmwag Conservancy, to develop responsible ecotourism initiatives and thereby support wildlife conservation in the area. In addition to guests gaining amazing insight into the ecology and conservation of this area, a portion of their revenue goes to the Trust and its conservation operations. Rhino tracking on foot and by vehicle with these dedicated men is an original and exclusive wilderness experience

These are just a few examples of exclusive ecotourism experiences we can offer you on your safari. By working together with these amazing organizations, you can play a part in future conservation of treasured endangered species.
