The Silo Hotel in Cape Town is a building with a unique history that has been renovated with all the extravagances of a modern luxury hotel.

Towering above the V&A waterfront, The Silo hotel is located in a six-floor space, formerly the elevator tower of a larger grain silo complex, above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA). Originally constructed in 1924, the grain silo complex was the tallest building in sub-Saharan Africa at the time and played an important role in international trade as an export facility until it closed in 2001. It has been renovated by a modern architect and is known for its signature pillowed window bays.

With multiple dining options that include a café, rooftop restaurant, and a bar, guests will never run out of mouth-watering choices. Hotel amenities include a sky terrace with a swimming pool and sweeping views of the city and Table Mountain, a spa, gym, library, and private meeting spaces and dining rooms. Hotel rooms vary in size and views, and all rooms have private balconies.

The Silo Hotel sets a new standard for luxury hotel accommodation in Cape Town. Centrally located, it is the ideal location from which to explore "The Mother City".

Client Testimonials

"Our family had a fantastic time in Africa, it will be a tough trip to beat. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!"
Captain Erin Settles, Delta Airlines
"Thank you for a superb job of planning and organizing as everything went smoothly. The country of South Africa so captivated me that my husband and I are already planning a return trip next summer. The only thing to rival the bush and animals was the food. The experience of South Africa is like no other and its effect is difficult to express. I can only encourage others to make the venture."
Laurel J. Snelling, Physician Assistant Associates PLLC.
"I've been traveling all over the world for twenty years, but my trip this month to Africa put together by your firm was the smoothest and best planned trip I've ever made. The various places we stayed were outstanding and the uniqueness of each location added to the charm and atmosphere of the trip. The service I received from the guides, drivers and hotel attendants made me feel like royalty. The most impressive part was how smooth everything worked. Thanks again for your hard work, dedication and professionalism. I look forward to another trip with you."
Mike Blair, Managing director-Investments Wachovia Securities Inc.
